RICE KRISPIES TREATS

INGREDIENTS:

1/4 c butter or magarine 10 oz marshmallows (40 regular or 4 cups miniture) 6 c Rice Krispies

1 Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.

2 Add rice krispies. Stir well until well coated.

3 Using buttered spatula or wax paper, press mixure evenly into buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

   

4 Cool and cut into squares.

OR

1 Microwave butter and marshmallows on full power in large glass bowl for 2 minutes. Stir to combine. Microwave on full power 1 1/2 to 2 minutes longer. Stir until smooth.
