Linking to Other Sites

Off-Site Links

Links to other sites are as simple as links to pages on AllAbout. Place the full URL between a single set of square brackets. To add a title to the link, add a vertical bar, then type the title.

Here are some examples:

* [http://gmail.com]
* [ftp://ftp.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/]
* [http://weatheroffice.ec.gc.ca/city/pages/on-82_metric_e.html|Kitchener-Waterloo Weather]

Even Easier

If you don't mind the link liiking like a link, you can just type it into your text and if it looks like a link, it will be converted into one.

* www.allabout.com
* ftp://ftp.example.com/pub
* http://goober.com
* frogs.com
