Michelle Purchase

Printmaking

Michelle Purchase has been printmaking since the early 1990's but has been working out of Globe Studios in Kitchener since 2004. Most of her work is intaglio (etchings & collographs) although she frequently works in monotype and occasionally lithography. Michelle studied Fine Arts at the University of Waterloo before obtaining a Masters of Landscape Architecture from the University of Guelph. She currently teaches landscape design, field botany, and related environmental courses at Niagara College in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Classes

Monoprinting, various intaglio techniques, waterless lithography and polyester plate lithography, printmaking for educators - all by request - groups of 3 or 4 people
