Sean M Puckett

In his early years, the easy money of computer programming lured Sean away from his fascination with graphic arts and photography. Now that he has decided his soul is more important than his wallet, he's put down the keyboard and picked up his camera once more. He smiles more frequently these days. Sean's studio is in Kitchener, Ontario.

Statement

My photography blends representational with impressionistic imagery and combines the external world of visible reality with the internal world of emotion. All images are captured with digital sensors and processed using self-programmed software simulations of traditional darkroom techniques. With rare (and noted) exceptions, no pixel painting or scene-altering retouching is performed.

Commissions and Portraits

Perceptive and compelling portraits are among my favorite subjects. I also accept commissions for the creation of unique, custom imagery.

Fine Artist Services

Digital capture / reprography: I offer digital capture of traditional artworks for reproduction on the web or as a step towards creating prints.

Wide Format Printing: My studio is equipped with large format printing equipment and can render stunning detail and colour on photo paper, fine art papers, watercolour media, acetate, fabrics and fine art canvas.
